The service life of these buoys, compared with conventional buoys is considerably longer and thus more practical. A special chemical process has been developed. It strengthens the resistance to overall buoy deterioration and sets an industry standard for long-term colorfastness.
Additional foaming strengthens the buoy against damage from collisions; it's practically unsinkable. The buoy is made with a strong and sturdy rod running through it with two large integral eyes placed at each end. The bottom eye turns 360 degrees so that the buoy can turn as the boat swings, but the chain itself does not turn.

Our Marker Buoy will always stay in the exact location in the water due to is extension mechanism that makes sure that only the necessary amount of slack is released, as it rides the waves and holds against flood and ebbing currents.
The total length of the stainless steel, spring-loaded internal belt is 20 meters (66 feet). For deeper waters, we supply "in between" extension lines (belts) so that the buoy can be set at deeper depths.
The anchoring rode (extension belt) rolls in and out with strong tension provided by an internal, long lasting stainless steel spring mechanism. Thanks to an intelligent technology, the belt only needs to have from 12 to 20 kg (25 to 45 lbs) of weight - depending on depth of the water, weather and sea conditions at the location site.

Our buoy is distinguished by handsome design, high strength and stability. A long life time is secured. Due to our special manufacturing process the sensitive fadeless color will remain. Beneath the buoy there is fixed a solid stainless steel fitting with welded eye, so that the buoy may also be anchored safely.
By request the buoy may be delivered with a chromium steel bow, chromium steel peak or without any fittings.
