DEVIL'S CLAWS & CHAIN TENSIONERS
|
|
Devil's Claws have been used for generations by sailors in order to secure chain and anchors while on deck. Our patented design has improved the old concept. By securing the chain IN BETWEEN the links, slippage is virtually impossible. Additional benefits are obtained from the fact that once secured, the chain will no longer exert pressure on the windlass' gears, effectively adding years to its useful life. Several mechanisms can be attached to this claw in order to provide proper tensioning.
